BCLA invites Black creatives from all backgrounds to showcase their work and access licensing opportunities. Below, you'll find our criteria for submissions, technical specifications, and a step-by-step guide to joining our platform

  • We welcome Black artists of African, Caribbean heritage and the Black diaspora from across the world.

    We accept work in the following categories: murals, photography, illustration, fine art, graphic design, sculpture, and motion graphics.

  • Portfolio: Submit 5–10 high-quality examples of your work (minimum resolution: 300 DPI).

    Licensing-Ready Files: Ensure digital formats are usable for commercial or editorial reproduction.

    Artist Statement: Share a brief bio (150–200 words) about your vision and background.

  • Step 1: Complete our online submission form with your portfolio and details.

    Step 2: Our team will review your work for quality, originality, and licensing potential.

    Step 3: Successful applicants will be invited to join BCLA and onboard their works for licensing opportunities.
